In celebration of Lake Appreciation Month, the Pigeon Lake Watershed Association held a Photography Contest!

Community members have submitted photos in three categories - Lake, Land, and Sky - each one differently showcasing the beauty of our watershed.

A panel of PLWA judges have selected the top four photos in each category, and now it is up to you to vote for our winners! The photo with the most votes in each category will be awarded a prize pack, and the photo with the most votes overall will be awarded our grand prize: a set of handmade mugs from local artist, Margot Solstice, of Barnswallow Corner Studio.

Voting will close on August 12, 2026 at 11:59pm MT, with winners being announced shortly thereafter. Voting is accessible on our Instagram highlights, or by clicking the button below:
