Mulhurst Bay Boat Launch, August 7, starting at 10:00 AM

The Alberta Conservation K-9 Program will run an official watercraft inspection station at Mulhurst Bay, Pigeon Lake, Alberta on August 7, starting at 10:00 AM. PLWA will be onsite to help raise awareness about the threat of aquatic invasive species in Alberta, importance of inspection stations, and boater’s responsibility to Clean, Drain, Dry their watercraft. All boats launching that day will be inspected.

Media will be invited to speak with municipal councillors, watershed groups, and other delegates who will be attending the event in support of strengthening prevention measures.

Come out to meet the Conservation K-9 team. Hilo the dog will there sniffing for invasive mussels.
